Fourteenth: Beach Wedding Hair Accessories
If you are a beach bride, there are many ways to carry your oceanside setting into your hair accessories. Using seashells, starfish, and sea glass, you can design something unique and elegant to reflect your sandy fashion vibes. You just have to find the right person to create your bridal accessories so they don’t look like they were made in craft class.
“My favorite gem and bead store in Martha’s Vineyard supplied me with some beautiful seashells and rare freshwater pearls over the years. Sadly, they are no longer there, but I still have a few gems left to design some beautiful pieces for brides. The rarer the component, the more it adds to the value of my work.”

Mini seashells, Mother of Pearl starfish, pastel crystals, and freshwater pearls created a beautiful hue of sandy tones for these custom bridal accessories.
Recently, I collaborated with the talented master stylist Elena Usyk, owner of Elena Usyk Styles. Elena has perfected 3-dimensional hairstyles and risen to the top among her peers. She has received international recognition for her work and now teaches others the tedious art of dimensional hair design.

Family and friends joined Chloe and Jacob for their destination wedding at El Dorado Seaside Suites in Mexico.

The nice thing about an accessory like Chloe’s is you never have to pack it away. It can be worn again. Chloe has an upcoming beach wedding where she plans to wear it again.

Jenna and RJ were looking for the perfect balance between a relaxed, casual atmosphere and a formal and meaningful celebration on their wedding day. A beach ceremony was a must!
“Our vision was to create a destination-like party that wasn’t too far from home. The Jersey Shore seemed like the perfect spot as it reminded us of the summers we spent at the store with our families. Tim McLoone’s Supper Club turned out to be the perfect choice!”

I always wanted to create a collection from sea glass. Jenna was not a crystal kind of bride; this was the perfect opportunity. My challenge was to find sea glass in the right hue and size. I found the ideal tiny glass pieces in Bulgaria!
“When Marie proposed the idea of a sea glass headpiece, she took my breath away. I never imagined something so uniquely beach-inspired, yet bridal could exist. I searched the web for similar ideas to bring to my consultation, but to my surprise, nothing like it could be found online crafted with genuine sea glass. I couldn’t wait to see what Marie could design!”
“Marie suggested incorporating cracked shells, crushed glass, and freshwater pearls into my headpiece and earrings during the design process. I was so excited about this added touch of beachy elegance. When I saw the finished product, I was blown away by how these additions made it so unique and special.”
Mother Nature surprised Jenn and RJ with a coastal storm on their wedding day.
“I had my heart set on a beautiful beach ceremony with wedding photos on the sand and jetty. As the wedding week approached, the forecast predicted rain. I tried to stay as positive as possible. My coworkers joined me in sun dances at work, hoping to keep the rain away with laughter. On the morning of the wedding, the most calmful peace came over me. I realized the weather didn’t even matter; what truly mattered was being surrounded by everyone I loved, embracing the breathtaking ocean views, and having fun. Rain at the Jersey Shore is better than rain in North Jersey any day!”
When I received Jenna’s beautiful wedding gallery, I told her that maybe rain provided a little gift. She and RJ had the entire boardwalk to themselves on a summer day down the shore, and that is not easy to come by!
“We would love to renew our vows one day on the beach since we never had our beach ceremony, and I absolutely will be wearing my wedding day accessories!”
